I am a Seattle-based Industrial Designer with 10+ years of experience leading IDUX teams toward impactful, brand-focused solutions. I thrive on guiding interdisciplinary teams to bridge the gap between user needs and business goals. I bring value by instilling the process and pragmatism necessary to turn sophisticated concepts into useful, market-ready realities.
Outside of design I enjoy a more tactile, analog lifestyle. I restore and modify vintage vehicles, using them to venture off the map or roadtrip. Whether it is uncovering hidden history or navigating the Pacific Northwest’s wilderness or its twisty mountain roads, I’m driven by a love for soulful machinery and the grit of the journey itself—finding more inspiration in the dirt, breakdowns, and the detours than the destination.

I have 25+ years of experience as an independent, corporate, and consultancy designer/leader with a high mix of development cycles in consumer, medical, home health, industrial, and test equipment. I leverage this knowledge in a technical sales, project estimation, and project planning roles to build and deploy business minded IDUX/UE plans achievable by creative teams.

Great design marries usability with high quality interaction. I establish required product characteristics and requirements at the outset of a project that establishes a northstar for creative teams decisions on form, aesthetics, and interaction. This foundational process is key in effectively developing products that are on brand and loved by users. Over the course of a project this also maintains design intent when new inputs inevitably cause course corrections.
